Update on current state of game


Wewlads it's been a while.

Back when I last updated I had just been told I needed to find a new place to live, my cat had passed away a few months earlier and where I live went down into hardcore lockdown where everything was closed except grocery stores and pharmacies. I've had to pack and move, help another friend move, deal with the holidays, deal with my sad brain, and just deal with being alive.

Oh and my computer blew out requiring a huge costly fix and I lost the majority of my code/files.

So what's happening with the project?

The project files were lost, but hope is not lost. I'll be restarting it sometime soon as we all go into another lockdown. My original idea of having a demo in a few months didn't really work out because trying to do everything from scratch in Lua/Love2d ended up being far more difficult than I originally thought! I love the language, but goddamn is there no libraries or easier way to do things. 

Very worst case since the game doesn't have any 3d models or anything too graphically intensive I can switch back to AGS for a demo/prototype build.

Otherwise, I'll see you all in another few months when the world is still on fire~
